The course includes six asanas to help you understand and tailor yoga poses to support healing, resilience, and self-development.
Practice 1: OG Slow Flow Trauma-Sensitive Sequence
Practice 2: Yoga for Recovery
Practice 3: Hatha Yoga
Practice 4: Yin Yoga for inward-drawn attention to heal and fully inhabit ourselves
Practice 5: Yoga of the Subtle Body - The Root Chakra

Who is OG Yoga and Why this Course Offering
OG Yoga sends Yoga Alliance certified instructors with at least 200 hours of teaching experience out to need base communities, for youth, seniors and adults facing homelessness, poverty, abuse, addiction, incarceration and re-entry, we make Yoga and mindfulness equally accessible to all. OG Yoga has served over 10,000 individuals from 5 to 85 years young through 50 community partnerships. We have an altruistic Yoga Studio in Normal Heights in addition to our Yoga Teacher Training.

This Workshop
Specializing in advanced curriculum to serve communities in need with trauma- and diversity-informed, mindfulness-based yoga. This workshop is open to certified instructors and meets the required 30 hours of continuing education by Yoga Alliance.
Price
The cost is $450, and we're offering special early bird pricing of $360, if paid by August 1st. Maximum capacity is up to 12 participants for the course.
